Henri Matisse: Nuit de Noel antique Painting is a privilegeHenri Matisse: Nuit de Noel La Revue Verve, Vol. IX, Nos. 35 36 (1958) This lithograph is sourced from the monumental 1958 double issue of La Revue Verve, titled Les Dernires uvres de Matisse (The Last Works of Matisse). The series is considered the definitive posthumous tribute to the artist's final creative period. Each piece was created between 1950 and 1954 at the absolute zenith of Henri Matisse's revolutionary paper "cut out" (gouaches dcoups)
